Senior Full-Stack/Frontend Developer (all genders) syndena creates structured RWD (real world data) from unstructured clinical data (EHR - electronic health records) to facilitate personalized and "patient-centered" medicine. We contribute significantly to the creation of future FAIR (findability, accessibility, interoperability and reusability) data marketplaces that support science and research in the field of health care, while putting highest priority on clinician’s and individual’s interests and data privacy concerns. Therefore, our mission is to make this coveted but highly sensitive Real World Data available to all stakeholders in the most convenient way by utilizing modern big data methods, while respecting individual and public interests as well as privacy concerns. What you will do Choose technologies and make architectural decisions for integrating frontends into a hybrid cloud-based federated analytics platformCollaborate with medical domain experts, developers and deep learning researchersIndependently design, develop, test, maintain and, deploy production quality data analytics frontendsYou check these boxes Master in software engineering, computational science, or equivalentAt least 5 years of experienceAbility to analyze complex architectures and independently make decisionsExpert in Angular, React, and/or Vue.js as well as modern software engineering practices (clean code, design patterns, refactoring, object-oriented programming, test-driven development, …)Experience with Google Cloud Platform, Docker, JavaScript, REST, Python, (Postgre)SQL, UI/UXAwesome communication skills and willingness to continually learn and growFluent knowledge of spoken and written English, German is an advantageWhy you will like us Become part of a collegial, international, and virtual team that works together across locations.
